I often start with screen shots or use them as a base to set up a punch-line from a specific episode. I then make changes to panels from there. I try to make changes as screen accurate as possible so it feels like nothing was changed or modified.
I chose this method of making comics because I could make funny, high quality content without the use of a tablet. Comics can take anywhere from 6-20+ hours to complete, depending on the changes I make. I do eventually plan on getting a tablet to make content from scratch. If this does happen, I'll still also make comics in my current style.
